Rusty was born and raised in Nashville, a small town in Southwest Arkansas. He attended college at the University of Central Arkansas and moved to Louisiana in 2005.  Rusty moved to Lafayette while working for Hobby Lobby and continued to advance throughout his career. From Co-Manager, New Store Set Up Director, Interim District Manager, to Store Manager of the Lafayette Location, he excelled at all of them. Ready for a new adventure he left Hobby Lobby with dreams of becoming a business owner. To date, he has owned six businesses and currently owns three locations of Cajun Market Donuts and successfully manages his full-time real estate business.   

Real Estate has been Rusty’s main focus for the past 3 years. His passion is helping others buy and sell their homes. Looking back, he knew, while in college that this was exactly what he wanted to do and where he wanted to be. Rusty feels blessed to be married to his lovely wife, Claire and to be a dad to his two adorable children. They are the light of his life! Rusty is co-owner of The CJ Group and works with Residential, Investment Properties, and Commercial Real Estate.
